A question about Truth - from Pacific Health Perspectives 


What is truth? How can it be defined? It appears that we live in a world embroiled in lies and deception and dishonesty. Yet these warnings are found in the Bible: “Thou shalt not raise a false report: Keep thee far from a false matter;” (Exodus 23:1, 7). All through Scripture the thread of truth speaks with clarity and confidence about what is genuine and trustworthy. When we hear of blatant untruths, the first reaction is often shock and disbelief. But then we can easily become dismissive of such assertions and that leads to indifference, apathy, and the covering up of what needs to be revealed. Our society and the world beyond can only function properly if we’re faithful to the laws of God. Truthfulness is one of them. Read more
