Experiencing first-hand the healing power of Love is Nate’s favorite thing. 

For many people a spiritual practice is not something abstract, it’s a way to ground oneself in Love against tides of fear and uncertainty. The Christian Science perspective on prayer can help anyone find genuine relief from fear, and experience whole-person healing. The how-to of effective prayer, as well as concerns and questions related to the current pandemic, will be addressed in the talk.

Nate studied religion at Hampshire College where he was introduced to Christian Science healing. Although he was enamored with the academic exploration of spirituality, what he truly desired most was to practice spirituality in a tangible way — he wanted to experience God and heal others. After studying at Hampshire College Nate traveled the world for a year and hiked extensively in the Himalayas. Returning to Boston, Massachusetts he has worked in many capacities for The First Church of Christ, Scientist and is now a member of the Board of Lectureship, giving talks throughout the world. He has spoken at jails, rehab centers and inter-faith events. He’s also been widely involved in composing, producing, and performing Christian music.
