Lessa studied languages and was a business owner in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for 10 years. Since 1998 she is a practitioner of Christian Science healing. Lessa lives in Quincy, MA, USA and lectures in English, Portuguese, Spanish and German as a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
