Find a Church

A warm welcome awaits you at the Christian Science Churches and Reading Rooms in Southern California.

Our SoCal churches offer services in-person, online and via phone on Sundays and Wednesdays. Check with individual churches for details. Churches holding in-person services follow current State and County public health requirements.

Inspiration and healing

If you are new to Christian Science, you will find our church services a quiet atmosphere for healing prayer and spiritual growth.

Bible-focused Sunday services. Services include Scriptural selections and a weekly Bible Lesson composed of Bible verses and citations from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.  There is always an inspirational solo and the congregation joins in singing hymns.

Testimonies of spiritual healing. If you're interested in healing prayer, you are especially invited to attend Wednesday evening meetings, which include testimonies of spiritual healing given by the congregation each week.  The meetings open with Bible verses and readings from Science and Health on topics that range from understanding God to raising children or healing physical problems.  Understanding God's nature and man's relationship to Him brings healing in our individual lives, as well as in the community and the world.

Everyone welcome.  You will find Christian Science churches and reading rooms in communities throughout Southern California and worldwide.  Church services and Reading Rooms are open to all, and visitors are always welcome.

Church. The structure of Truth and Love; whatever rests upon and proceeds from divine Principle.

The Church is that institution, which affords proof of its utility and is found elevating the race, rousing the dormant understanding from material beliefs to the apprehension of spiritual ideas and the demonstration of divine Science, thereby casting out devils, or error, and healing the sick."

Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 340
