of Southern California
TO BLESS AND HEAL MANKIND
Christian Science Churches in Southern California are supporting those seeking comfort and healing . . .
The Christian Science Joint Media Committee is an important outreach and healing arm of the Christian Science branch churches and societies of Southern California. The Committee supports and facilitates activities that individual churches would not be able to maintain on their own. The Committee relies on contributions from all of the branches and societies to fund these activities, and representatives from these groups serve on the Committee.
The Committee meets quarterly. Contact us for more information.

Our mission
To serve as a "clearinghouse" for information about activities relating to Christian Science in Southern California.
The Christian Science Joint Media Committee's mandate is "to place before the public the words 'Christian Science' in a way that will attract, bless, and heal mankind." The thrust of Christian Science is spiritual healing, based on the words and works of Christ Jesus and Biblical principles. Christian Science was founded in 1879 by a New England woman, Mary Baker Eddy, and its teachings are presented in her book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
