Finding a joy that can’t be masked

In a world where face coverings have become ubiquitous, it can sometimes feel as if we’re losing part of our identity. But no mask can keep us from expressing our God-given joy and individuality.

Our local government, like so many others, issued a directive requiring the wearing of face masks in most situations due to the coronavirus pandemic. I struggled for quite a while with this situation. I was spinning my wheels and getting nowhere. And on top of it all, I developed uncomfortable, persistent jaw tension.
